ECO FRIENDLY FLY-IN RESORT WITH EXCEPTIONAL VIEWS - http://www.wolflake.ca/news.html
Situated on DEEDED land on the pristine shores of the Lake, 110 miles east of Whitehorse, the main lodge and 4 guest cabins offer a quaint, rustic retreat for guests of the lodge. A real bonus is the lodge’s proximity to an international airport. The flight costs to Whitehorse from most U.S. Cities aren't much different than flying into Winnipeg or Saskatoon. Ideally suited as a private hideaway for families, groups, companies or clubs, the lodge has plenty of expansion potential and will provide a back country legacy for years to come.
The titled property was obtained 10 years ago. All accommodation/Gas/Fire/electrical/Water/Sewer is up to current code and approved. These inspections were necessary in order to be granted title to the property.

There is a different structure in the Yukon compared to other areas of Canada for example. Government is very pro development of the resource, and with only a handful of operators there isn't any limit to the number of beds the lodge can have, nor is it limited to the lakes they want to access. Operators are left to manage their own resource responsibly and develop business plans with conservation in mind. There are several smaller lakes/rivers in the area that could be developed for day trips/fly outs, if someone wanted to offer that business without the necessity of any additional permits.
Nestled deep in the heart of the Yukon, this resort is a wilderness experience unlike any other. Fully protected by mountain ranges on either side, the Lodge is accessible only by float plane to provide privacy and unrivalled serenity for the nature enthusiast. Guests of the lodge can view bald and golden eagles soar across high skies during the 24 hour daylight hours during June and July, and relax in the firewater hot tub to watch the Alaskan moose as they amble by. Breathtaking scenery and the serene trout filled lake along with pike, red fin trout and Grayling in the river nearby this area offers outstanding fishing opportunities.
The Yukon Government in conjunction with the Fish and Game association provides several different opportunities throughout the summer to educate and encourage local families to enjoy the sport of fishing. This lodge is a proud financial supporter of their programs also supports Yukon Fisheries in their ongoing research on all of the fish species in the Yukon, by hosting their researchers at the lodge to conduct research on this exceptional fishery.
There isn't any question as to the quality of the fishery, lodge has a strong Trout Fishery, and what's been called the The most Prolific Grayling Fishery in the World by some very competent professional anglers. The lodge is located in some of the most pristine wilderness that Canada has to offer, and only a 45 minute flight from an international airport (Whitehorse).
One of the greatest assets is the seclusion along with the proximity to an international airport. The costs to Whitehorse from most U.S. Cities aren't much different than coming into Winnipeg or Saskatoon. The only transportation cost that the Lodge has is the flight out of Whitehorse to the lodge. Only a 45 minute flight from an international airport (Whitehorse).
Yukon is one of the best places on earth to see the Northern Lights – colourful bands of light that dance in the dark night sky. While the Northern Lights occur year-round, summer’s near-constant daylight makes seeing them next to impossible. In the autumn, winter and early spring, however, clear, dark nights lend themselves to stunning displays.
The lodge does hold a Wilderness Tourism License which is required so the government can ensure each operator has the appropriate liability coverage to carry out it's operations. The lodge also maintains a liquor license.
Opportunities like this rarely become available, don’t miss this one time opportunity to own your own piece of wilderness paradise.
