Experienced, friendly, knowledgeable guides are available at guests’ request. Lodge runs 16 ft aluminum boats with 15 hp, 4 stroke motors, carpeted floors, and casting decks. Guide boats run with 25 hp motors.
NORTHERN PIKE
The lodge provides an excellent opportunity for that trophy Northern Pike. With Northerns released up to 51”, the lodge has loyal, die-hard Pike fishermen who return year after year. The lake offers hundreds of weed beds and back bays which are excellent habitats for Northern Pike. To ensure the continuation of the lake’s outstanding fishing profile, the owners require that all northern pike above 30 inches and walleye over 20 inches be released. Provincial regulations also require barbless hooks on tackle used in Manitoba. Guides or any of the staff are thoroughly familiar with regarding proper handling techniques that promote a quick and harmless release that will help ensure fine fishing in Manitoba for years to come.
WALLEYE
Fishing on this lake is absolutely fantastic! Nestled in the heart of excellent Walleye territory, this lake is second to none. Catching shore lunch has never been easier. Filled with hidden reefs and rocky shorelines, the lodge offers great Walleye fishing. Almost any type of lure works, the most popular being the 3/4 oz. or 1/2 oz. jig heads along with a rubber tail, rappalas, and spinners. A light or ultra-light rod is recommended for Walleye.
The lodge offers Full American plan packages, guided or unguided, or for those guests on their own at an outpost of their choice – Outposts: Three Outpost Lakes for those guests that want total privacy.
MOOSE HUNTING (14 Non-Resident)
Lodge provides experts at providing guests with the best Canadian Wilderness hunting or fishing trip possible! The Canadian Moose, the largest of Manitoba’s big game animals, is an admired species that repeatedly captures the interests of hunters. Broadly acknowledged as a premier moose hunting destination, Manitoba offers a variety of select areas for exceptional moose hunting opportunities.
Over the years, this lake Area has proven to have one of the highest concentrations of Bull Moose in Manitoba. The average over the past 30 years is an outstanding 70% success rate, the opportunity being 85%.
Hunting season begins in the middle of September to the end of the first week in October, offering some beautiful weather for hunting as well as a stunning colorful tree line. Each hunter is supplied with a trophy bull tag, and a guide for the entire week (6 Days of Hunting), and all the meat is flown back to the airport. Hunts are all done out of the main lodge. BEAR HUNTING (24 Non-Resident)
Black Bear hunting season in Manitoba runs twice a year in the spring and fall, and this lake area proudly boasts one of the highest concentrations of Black bears in the province.
Spring bear seasons run from May 21st to June 30th, 2022. Fall season dates are August 22nd to October 9th, 2022. There are 24 guest tags available for trophy bears on this lake. This allows every hunter an excellent opportunity for a trophy. Hunts run for 7 days. Fishing all day and hunting in the evening is a typical routine at the lodge. Color phases in the area range from black, and cinnamon to blonde. Bears up to 600lbs have been taken in the spring. 100% of hunters have the opportunity with 95% being successful. Bow or Rifle is allowed.
HUNTING & FISHING OUTPOST CAMPS
For those guests who enjoy being on their own, the lodge has a few fly-in out camps to choose from. Leave from any major center in the U.S. and the lodge guests will be at one of the outposts the same day. If guests choose to drive up to the float base, it is a 7 hour drive north of Winnipeg on Highway 6, then a quick 20 minute floatplane or helicopter ride to the camp. All out camps offer trophy Northern Pike and Walleye fishing. Catch and release only is practiced on all out camp lakes. Large pike is not uncommon either, making for added excitement when that massive jack decides to take a pass at your walleye jig. This out camp has become one of the lodge’s most popular outposts, this outpost lake is an annual tradition for many of the lodge guests.

This lake is located 16 miles west of the float base. The outpost is located on an island in the middle of the lake accommodating up to 8 guests. If guests want to catch big Walleye and Trophy Northern Pike, this is the place to be! The lake has an incredible amount of bottom structure that holds large amounts of walleye. For northern pike, guests can travel to any one of the weedy bays to catch a big monster. Fishing for both species is best at the end of May and June. A truly unique fishing experience in a natural setting.

This is the Lodge’s newest out camp constructed entirely with logs from the surrounding area, which has a great view of the lake. This lake can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. Tucked in a small bay along a narrow stretch of the lake, this outpost is always sheltered from the wind and weather. The low-sloping shoreline offers easy travel from the cabin to the dock as well.
